About me

Hi, I’m Bri! I’m a DogMom, Yogi, and Jeep-lover. I’m from Long Island, New York, commuting to Queens and Manhattan for over three years now. I’ve recently finished my Master of Science in Business Analytics at St. John’s University in December 2024. I graduated from SJU in 2022 with my Bachelor of Science in Business as well. Go Johnnies!

My expertise lies at the intersection of AI/ML, statistics, and research. I specialize in building predictive models, conducting rigorous statistical analyses, and applying machine learning to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. My work focuses on identifying patterns, optimizing decision-making processes, and developing data-driven strategies that enhance efficiency and innovation. I’m currently seeking opportunities as a data scientist, analyst, or researcher, where I can apply these skills to solve analytically challenging problems in dynamic environments.

Beyond my technical expertise, I have a strong interest in economic research and its intersection with machine learning and data science. I’m particularly focused on how predictive analytics, algorithmic modeling, and quantitative research can be leveraged to analyze market trends, forecast economic shifts, and drive policy and business strategy. My goal is to contribute to data-driven economic decision-making by integrating advanced analytical methods with a deep understanding of financial and behavioral dynamics.

Thanks for stopping by my portfolio!

Very truly yours,

Learning something new has been shown to enhance both mental well-being and cognitive resilience, and I can personally attest to the transformative power of expanding one’s understanding. For me, knowledge is not just about accumulation; it’s about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful connections between ideas. I believe that continuous learning drives both personal growth and societal progress, shaping the way we interpret the world and solve its most pressing challenges.

My “Why?”

My passion for data science is deeply rooted in my fascination with economic research. Economics provides a structured yet dynamic framework for understanding complex systems, forecasting trends, & driving strategic decision-making. This intersection became even clearer when I presented my independent research on the economics of climate change at the 2023 Eastern Economics Association 49th Annual Conference, a pivotal experience that completely reshaped my academic trajectory. The feedback I received pushed me to expand my analytical background and solidified my decision to pursue a Master’s in Business Analytics at St. John’s University. This degree allowed me to deepen my expertise in quantitative research, machine learning, and predictive modeling, while honing my ability to translate data into actionable insights.

My undergraduate experience reinforced the idea that the spread of knowledge and the evolution of ideas play a crucial role in shaping the future across disciplines. This realization inspired me to contribute to the broader conversation on how knowledge is developed, shared, and applied. I am particularly interested in how economic principles, data science, and international business intersect, fields that are in constant motion, influencing industries, policies, and global development. The intricate dynamics of the global economy, with its many moving parts, serve as both a challenge and a foundation for progress.

I take pride in my adaptability, my ability to succeed outside of my comfort zone, quickly acquire new skills, and master new systems of information. My academic and professional experiences reflect my resilience, my dedication to success, and my commitment to both personal and collective growth. As I advance in my career, I aim to leverage data science to drive meaningful, research-backed insights in economics and business, helping to shape decisions that have a lasting impact on industries and our society.

I’m always open to connecting with like-minded professionals, discussing data science or economics, and exploring new opportunities. Let’s connect!
